il5About il5.me
A short address for a long link. Simple as that.
Open by design
Every active link is listed publicly: its short address, title, source URL, creation date and expiration date. Your personal information stays private. “Open” refers to the directory, not an open-source license.
We store links, not websites
We keep URLs and the metadata needed to operate them. A temporary lookup retrieves the page title; destination pages, images, videos and files are not stored here. User-submitted destinations are not endorsed by il5.me. Read the disclaimer.
A month is free
Choose a day, a week, two weeks or one month. A longer custom expiration costs US$2.50 for each additional month or part. Use an automatic address or choose 2–16 lowercase letters and numbers, subject to availability.
Your link, your control
Verify your email to activate your link. Keep the private removal code supplied at registration; use it with your registration ID to cancel the link. Expired or removed addresses can be reused, so an old bookmark may eventually lead somewhere else.
